Aboard the Schooner Heritage

In September, 2015, we traveled to Maine, U.S., to visit some old haunts from our days living in the eastern U.S., and to spend a few days cruising along the Maine coast in a schooner called Heritage. The pictures in this gallery were made aboard that ship; these are photos of lines (ropes), hardware, rowboats, and other interesting bits we found on the ship.

We have a two-part article about the trip, which starts with the cruise, and ends with a visit to Acadia National Park at Bar Harbor, Maine. With these shipboard photos we strive for maximum detail, in an attempt to bring out the beauty in the marine odds-and-ends aboard the Heritage.
