Cuyahoga Valley National Park

CUVA is located about 40 miles (65 Km) from our former home in northeast Ohio. (NOTE: In November of 2003 we moved from Ohio to northwest Montana.) This is an unusual national park in that its 33,000 acres are criss-crossed by state and national highways; it has a large number of private residences; and it contains industrial properties, farms, and commercial and retail sites. It links together a chain of local parks along the Cuyahoga River.

We also have some images of the park's great blue herons in our Herons gallery, and several more in the Hand of Man gallery.
