Jewel Basin, Western Montana

The photos in this gallery were made during multi-day backpacking trips into western Montana's Jewel Basin in the Flathead National Forest. To keep pack weight low the pictures were made with a cell phone. (The 'best' camera is the one you have with you.) The Canon DSLR, tripod, and selection of lenses were sorely missed, but carrying that weight wasn't possible. Unless otherwise noted prints of these images are not available.
