Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota

In June of 2010 we visited Theodore Roosevelt National Park (North Unit). Like Badlands National Park, it's a beautiful place of bentonitic clay and sandstone badlands, open prairie grasslands, and wildlife. It had been an unusually wet spring and the park was much greener than normal. We expect to return to the park, and also to visit the South Unit.
